Maria has been an active part of the hair industry since 1997. With an Associates in Business Management from Dean College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Stonehill College, and her cosmetology license from Labaron Hairdressing Academy Maria opened her first salon in 2016 in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, and in July of 2018 relocated to our convenient Bay Street, Taunton location. With 24 years of experience behind her, Maria has been creating beautiful colors and styles for every client that sits in her chair. With an eye for detail and the skill set to ensure her clients’ happiness. In addition to haircutting, formal styling, extensive Matrix color training, and advanced Redken color courses, Maria is certified with Barbicide and Brazilian Blowout. Maria works tirelessly to keep Shear Xpressions running safely and smoothly.
Amy has been working in the cosmetology field since 1995. Upon graduating from Fall River Beauty Academy she began working to help beautify Taunton one client at a time. Working with the Matrix color line, Amy has mastered her craft, and loves helping her clients reach their hair goals. With an expertise in color Amy joined the Shear Xpressions family in 2019 and has been enhancing her clients’ looks ever since. Currently Amy is certified through both Brazilian Blowout and Barbicide, and looks forward to continuing her education and training in the future!
Jennifer is an independent contractor of “Love is in the Hair” at Shear Xpressions. Specializing in cutting and coloring, Jennifer has been passionately serving her clients since 2011. With an eye for detail, she is always looking to continue her education and keep up to date with the latest trends. Jennifer feels lucky to love what she does, and to share that with her established clients as well as any new clients in her chair. After welcoming a beautiful baby girl into her family, Jennifer has returned to Shear Xpressions and is available for appointments at 508-846-1534. Danny has been in the hair industry since 2015. After completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Bridgewater State University, Danny began studying Cosmetology at Ailano School of Cosmetology in Brockton. Joining the Shear Xpressions family in 2018, Danny has been working hard to spread beautiful colors and cuts across Taunton with kindness and style. With a passion for bright fashion shades he works hard to ensure his clients leave the salon feeling trendy, confident, and happy with their transformation. Maintaining a strong focus on continuing education to stay up to date with the latest trends, hairstyles, and techniques Danny has worked to become certified with Barbicide and Brazilian Blowout.
